Birds
Birds are interesting flying
animals. They are vertebrates and warm blooded animals. They belong to aves
class and they can be found all over the world.
(General Classification)
Birds breath with their air
pocket. Beside as respiration organ, air pocket also can enlarge or reduce
their weight when flying or swimming.
There are many kinds of
birds. Earth bird has special characteristic. They have different morphology
acording to their food and their habitat. Some of them eat seeds, pollen, fish
or meat. There are some species that live in land and the others live in water.
Land birds live on their nest.
Female birds have specific
tasks. they lay eggs and feed their baby, Beside that they look for foods for
their baby.

Lions
Lions are wild animals that eat meat. It means
that lions are carnivores. Lions are magnificent animals that appear as a
symbol of power, courage and nobility and national flags in many civilizations.
Wild lions currently exist in Africa and in Asia with a critically endangered
remnant population.
(General Classification)
Lions live for ten to fourteen years in the wild,
while in captivity they can live longer than twenty years. In the wild, males
seldom live longer than ten years, as injuries sustained from continual
fighting with rival males greatly reduce their longevity. They typically
inhabit savanna and grassland, although they may take to bush and forest.
Lions are unusually social compared to other
cats. A pride of lions consists of related females and offspring and a small
number of adult males. Groups of female lions typically hunt together, preying
mostly on large ungulates, such as Zebras, Deers, and Buffalos. Lions are apex
and keystone predators.
Visually, the male lion is highly distinctive and
is easily recognized by its mane. Mature male lions are unique among the cat
species for the thick mane of brown or black hair encircling the head and neck.
Both male and female lions roar, a sound which can be heard as far as 8
kilometers away. However, Male lions are bigger than female lions.

Earthquake
Earthquake often happens around us. It brings great damages.
Earthquake is hard to be predicted and that makes lot victims.
(General Classification)
Actually there are three kinds of earthquake. This kinds of
earthquake are commonly base on the factor and geological area where the
earthquakes happen. These three kinds of earthquake are tectonic, volcanic and
explosion.
Tectonic earthquakes is most common one. This kind of
earthquake happens while earth's crust rocks break because of the geological
strength created by moving of the earth's plates.
Volcanic earthquakes happen exactly with volcanic activity.
Volcanic earthquakes are when the volcano produces acidic lava, which drys
quickly, when it drys quickly it blocks the top of the volcano. This make no
more magma can escape. Pressure starts to build up and eventually the acidic
lava can no longer stand the pressure. So the volcano is free to explode, the
pressure is released so fast that an earthquake is caused. A volcanic
earthquake is usually kept within 10-20 miles of the volcano.
Explosion earthquakes are the result of the collapse earthquakes
that are small earthquakes occurring in underground mines and caverns.

Pelikan Bird
The white pelican is one of the most succesful fish
eating birds. The success is largely due to its command hunting behavior.
(General Classification)
A group, perhaps two dozen birds, will gather in a curved
src some distance off shore. The bird then begin to move forward towards the
shore, beating the water furiously with their wings, driving the fish before
them When the water is shallow enough for the bird to reach the fish, the
formaion breaks up as each dips its bill into the water to scoops up its meal.
As the bird lifts its head, the water drains from its bill leaving the fish
which are then swallowed Pelicans are among the oldest group of birds. Fossils
of this genus have been found dating back 40 million years.

What is a computer?
A
computer is an electric machine used to make a human’s work easier.
(General Classification)
What
do computers do?
Computers are designed to do many things. Among these is
the ability to play games – not much to an adult but to a child these are quite
exciting and fascinating. It can also do both simple and complicated
arithmetic. Computers can also do word processing. This means that the computer
helps to decide what a piece of writing will look like. If the computer has a
printer attached then it can also feed information to the printer which will
then print out the information on to paper.
Types of computers
There are many types of computers not to mention the
numbers of brands and models. The three main types of computers are: mainframe
computers, micro-computers, and mini-computers.
Mainframe computers
Mainframe computers are very large computers that are
stacked up on frames. They usually have many input and output terminals
(keyboards and monitors). They are sometimes stacked up in the middle of a room
although they are usually stacked up against the walls of a room.
Micro-computers
Micro-computers are the most common type of computers.
These computers run on a micro-chip. They can only hold one input and output
terminal plus a printer.
Mini-computers
Mini-computers
run on a mini-chip. They can do a lot of things that micro-chip can’t. For
instance, they can support many input and output terminals. They are also a lot
faster than a micro-computer.
